Finding a spot to play was super easy. Just a short walk down behind the convenience store building, we found the perfect shallow riverbank. The water was crystal clear, and the flat rocky surfaces were ideal for setting up our large picnic mat.

I set up our spot, fed the baby, and let the older girls jump right into the water. The water depth was perfect and safe for kids.

The highlight of the day for the kids was the “treasure hunt” in the water. They had a blast splashing around and managed to catch a whole handful of daseulgi (Korean freshwater marsh snails). They proudly collected them, saying they were going to bring them home to their grandpa so he could have them as a side dish with his drinks! It was such a cute and heartwarming moment.
